A native of rural Pennsylvania, Tracy experienced the harsh realities of hardship in America at an early age. Raised by a single mother, a nurse who worked up to 95 hours a week, Tracy and her two sisters have vivid memories of walking long distances to and from school because gas was too expensive to afford. Despite their hardships, Tracy’s mother always set an example of giving back, volunteering at the food bank they got groceries from. It was these experiences that instilled strong lifelong values in Tracy; values that would lead her to a lifetime of public service. From a young age, Tracy understood the importance of remembering where you come from and always doing right by others, volunteering at local food banks with her family, even as they themselves often struggled to put food on the table.
Tracy attended American University and began pursuing a career in public service. Settling in Maryland, she chased her dream while working multiple jobs, raising children, and taking care of the very woman who sacrificed so much to take care of her, her mother. In January 2025, after two decades of sacrifice, she finally got a dream position at USAID. Four weeks later, Donald Trump announced the sweeping downsizing and eventual shutdown of the governmental aid organization. Like thousands of others, Tracy lost her job.
Tracy is running to stand up for those who work to give back to those in need, for the institutions that Trump has destroyed, and for the federal workers who lost their livelihoods. . As someone who has experience with the hardships working families face and a political newcomer, she brings a needed perspective. She is running to fight for the family that gives back to their community, even as they themselves are struggling under the weight of the affordability crisis. She understands that now is the time for someone to speak out and fight back.
The American people deserve representatives who strive for more than what we have been given. As a former federal worker who was targeted by DOGE, dedicated to standing up for her neighbors, Tracy will do just that.
Tracy as a speaker at an MSNBC Town Hall.
The Trump Administration has championed policies that rip families apart and leave the vulnerable unable to get back on their feet. Too many families are struggling to get by while “doing everything right.” We need to fight for a system that addresses the affordability crisis, so that Americans can attain more than simply “getting by.”
That means:
Tracy protesting for the community.
Americans have settled for representation that enriches itself as our families go unsupported. We have watched as special interests and the 1% have controlled the narrative. We need to fight for more from our representatives in Washington and refuse to settle for someone who won’t stand on the frontlines with us.
That means:
It takes a community to make good change happen. Unlike many in Washington, this campaign is funded by the people, not corporate interests. Will you join Team Tracy in standing up, speaking out, and fighting back today?
